Quik, Blaze and Raw, also known as QBR, are three friends that grew up in the same neighborhood.

Alex Sosa and his brother R. Sosa had an SP-1200 drum machine, they partnered with Scott Libengood who had Technic 1200 turntables, a vast amount of records and a small amount of recording equipment. This allowed them to do pre-production and record demos in Scott's garage.

QBR were introduced to A. Weir (T Boyz D. L.) and from that point on they started to immediately work on some hard Miami Bass Party Jams. DJ Mike Fury (Mike Pawlyk) joined soon after and became their DJ and producer. Eventually, 8th Wonder Recordings released QBR's first 12'' single "Dance Naked" b/w "Girls and Bass". With "Dance Naked" receiving some radio play and national distribution 8th Wonder Recordings became recognized as an up and coming independent label. "Dance Naked" was able to reach number 4 on the Miami Bass charts.
